Operating predominantly in the US, the company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Menlo Park California. Robinhood’s trading app primarily targets millennial and Gen-Z investors and aims to democratise trading. The fintech outfit held their IPO in July 2021, offering 52.4 million shares at $38 apiece.
