Established back in 1958, Kimco Realty Corp (KIM) is one of America’s most prominent owners and operators of commercial premises, with a particular focus on open-air shopping centres and mixed-use facilities. As of June 2020, the firm had a controlling interest in more than 400 shopping centres across the US, with more than 70m sq. ft. of real estate to its name. It operates throughout North America, from its headquarters in Jericho, New York. The KIM stock began trading on the NYSE in 1991.
