The firm sells ice-packed, chill-packed, bulk-packed, and frozen chicken in whole, cut-up, and boneless form, primarily under the Sanderson Farms brand name, although the firm also owns the Miss Goldy brand name. The company’s customers are primarily retailers, distributors, and dining operations throughout the United States, along with resellers who distribute frozen chicken products to international markets. The company produces more than 10,000 chickens a week and is one of the largest meat producers in the United States, as well as the only Fortune 1000 company in the state of Mississippi.
