Partners Group was founded in 1996 and is a large private markets investment managing group. The company serves over 900 institutional investors who seek to invest via private markets for their more than 100 million beneficiaries. Partners Group has $91 billion in assets under management and employs more than 1,300 professionals in 20 offices worldwide. Since its founding, the company has invested $200 billion in private equity, private real estate, private debt and private infrastructure on behalf of its clients. In 2019, the company announced plans to acquire a 50% stake in EnfraGen, a developer, owner and operator of specialised power generation assets in Latin America. That same year, Partners Group reported that $6.9 billion were invested across all private market asset classes on behalf of the firm's clients. The company’s financial results for the first half of fiscal 2019 include a reported 4% increase in total revenue, reaching CHF 682 million.
