The Communications Solutions segment provides electronic components, which includes terminals and connector goods and antennas for data and other devices. TE Connectivity markets its products in approximately 140 countries. These are primarily direct sales to manufacturers and third-party distributors and retailers. The company employs an estimated 85,000 employees throughout the world, which includes an engineering complement of approximately 8,000 engineers.
