Trigano SA

Trigano is a company specialising in the design and manufacturing of camping equipment and leisure vehicles. Edgard Trigano founded the company in 1935, leading it from a small family operation to one of the leading caravan and camping equipment manufacturers in all of Europe. Trigano has been involved in several acquisitions over the last few years, with the most notable being Slovenian Protej doo, British Auto-Sleepers, and French Lider. Trigano’s IPO took place in 1998, with details remaining surprisingly discrete, though it is known that the cost per share was hovering at around $3 during the first day of trading. The company stock is available on the Euronext as TRI.PA. Thirty-five years after it was founded, Trigano began to market caravans. To raise awareness of its new offering, the company elected to run a national campaign called ‘Camping is Trigano!’ The new campaign did not result in any significant success, paving the way for the French bank, Credit Lyonnais, to take control of the company in 1974.
