ProShares UltraShort Bloomberg Crude Oil

The ProShares UltraShort Bloomberg Crude Oil is an exchange traded fund that seeks a return that is -2x the return of crude oil futures on a daily basis. Managed by ProShares, this ETF was established in November 2008. The ProShares UltraShort Bloomberg Crude Oil fund's key objective is to achieve -2x the daily investment performance of the Bloomberg Commodity Balanced WTI Crude Oil Index. This index is composed of three separate contract schedules for WTI Crude Oil futures, including monthly, June, and December roll schedules. In general, the fund invests in futures contracts based on WTI sweet, light crude oil. The base currency for this fund is USD. Available on the NYSE, the ProShares UltraShort Bloomberg Crude Oil ETF is listed under the ticker SCO. This fund includes investments in the oil futures market. As of 17 December 2021, some of the fund's top holdings included WTI Crude Futures March 2022, WTI Crude Futures December 2022, and WTI Crude Futures June 2022. This fund does not invest directly in oil and is not intended to track the performance of the spot price of WTI crude oil.
