Wabtec Corp is headquartered in Wilmerding, Pennsylvania. The company manufactures and supplies technology-based products and components for freight and passenger rail, transit, power generation, off-highway equipment and industrial markets. In February 2019, it was announced that Wabtec will replace The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in the S&P 500, and The Goodyear Tire & Rubber will replace Wabtec in the S&P MidCap 400 effective. Also in 2019, the company announced the completion of a merger with GE Transportation.
