The firm was founded in 1973 and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The firm is also involved in the sale of ancillary products and services, such as technology solutions, primarily to their own franchise networks. The firm operates across four reportable business segments which are Real Estate, Mortgage, Marketing Funds and Other. The RE/MAX brand has over 135,000 agents operating in over 8,000 offices, and a presence in around 120 countries and territories. The Motto Mortgage brand has around 140 offices and held around $2.5 billion in loan volume as of the end of 2020. RE/MAX Holdings pays a quarterly dividend which has increased its every year since the firm originally went public in October of 2013.
