iShares Core Total USD Bond Market ETF

The iShares Core Total USD Bond Market ETF is an exchange traded fund which seeks to track the investment results of the Bloomberg U.S. Universal Index. This index is composed of U.S. dollar-denominated bonds that are rated either investment grade or high-yield. This ETF is managed by BlackRock, a well-respected fund management company established in 1997 that serves a worldwide customer base. This ETF aims to provide exposure to USD denominated, fixed-rate, taxable bonds across the entire credit spectrum with at least one year until maturity. It has a relatively low fee and a broadly diversified set of assets. Sectors represented in the index include the Treasury, MBS pass-through, industrials, and financial institutions, with the fund primarily consisting of a combination of US Treasuries, agency mortgage-backed securities, and corporate bonds. The index rebalances on a monthly basis. The distribution frequency of this fund is monthly, and the base currency is USD. As of December 2021, the fund had more than 13,000 holdings.
