The iShares Core S&P Total U.S. Stock Market ETF is an exchange traded fund that aims to track the investment results of the S&P Total Market Index (TMI), which is a broad-based index composed of U.S. equities. The fund was founded in 2004. The aim of the fund is to provide investors with relatively low-cost and convenient access to the U.S. stock market, ranging from some of the smallest to largest companies, in a single fund. The fund is committed to generally investing a minimum of 80% of its assets in the component securities of its underlying index and in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the component securities of its index.
