P7S1, also referred to by its full name, ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, is a German media company located in Unterföhring. Founded in 2000, ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE provides viewers with a wide variety of television offerings, from free-to-air to pay television. In addition to television, the company also owns radio stations and print-related services. ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE was created as a result of the merger between ProSieben Media AG and Sat.1 SatellitenFernsehen GmbH. PSM.DE is traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and MDAX index. The stock was previously part of the DAX until it was replaced by polymer manufacturer Covestro. ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE went public in 2000, the same year it was founded. ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE channels are available in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and North America. Some of the company’s more well-known channels include ATV, Sat 1 and Puls 4. ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE has also branched out to television production and video games. The company owns the distribution rights to the popular multiplayer game, PlanetSide 2 and the production subsidiary, Red Arrow Studios that was created in 2010.
