GRENKE AG

Located in the German town of Baden-Baden, Grenke AG was founded in 1978 by Wolfgang Grenke. The company specialises in financial services, including both factoring and office communication products. Grenke AG is part of the Grenke Group, comprised of several companies with combined operations in over 20 European countries. Grenke Group offers traditional online banking services via its subsidiary, Grenke Bank AG. The bank was formerly known as Hesse Newman until a 2009 buyout by the Grenke Group, which elected to change the name. Currently listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as GLJ.DE, Grenke AG went public in 2000. Originally, GLJ.DE stock was listed on the Neuer Markt, a now-defunct technology exchange similar to the Nasdaq. Grenke AG is part of the MDAX mid-cap index. Grenke AG enjoys a strong global presence in both Germany and around the world. Company operations can be found in numerous countries, including Denmark, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and Sweden.
