CVB Financial Corporation is the bank holding company for Citizens Business Bank, which provides banking and other financial services within California. Founded in 1974, CVB Financial has its headquarters in Ontario, California. Citizens Business Bank offers investment and trust-related services through its CitizensTrust Division, including mutual funds, fiduciary services, individual investment accounts, annuities and 401(k) plans. The bank provides banking and trust services for individuals, professionals and businesses, including checking, savings, money market and time certificates of deposit, as well as specialised deposit products for title and escrow. Citizens Business Bank operates through approximately 60 banking centres and three trust office locations. The areas serviced by the bank includes Central California, Ventura County, San Diego County, Los Angeles County, the Inland Empire, Orange County and Santa Barbara County. In January 2022, CVB Financial announced the completion of the merger between Citizens Business Bank and Suncrest Bank. Suncrest’s branch locations and loan production offices were reopened as Citizens Business Bank locations. The stock and cash deal was reported to be worth approximately $204m. Stock for CVB Financial trades on the NASDAQ GS under the ticker CVBF. The company has been listed on the exchange since January 1985.
