At the end of the second quarter of 2020, the company announced that it had earned an adjusted $1.33 a share on sales of $839mn. That revealed a jump on earnings of 102% year-over-year, along with an increase in sales of 49%. As of 2020, Teradyne employed more than 5000 people and served businesses and other organisations across the globe. Teradyne operates in diverse growth industries including Artificial Intelligence, 5G, and Defence & Aerospace. The TER share price is supported by the fact that the firm pays a dividend to shareholders which in its last filing represented a dividend yield of 0.44% on the back of reported revenue of $2.3bn.
