Barco NV is a technology firm based in Kortrijk in Belgium. It was founded in 1934 and sells globally. It specialises in a number of technologies including LED image processing, and operates across multiple sectors. Barco NV trades on the Brussels Stock Exchange, which is sometimes known as Euronext Brussels, under the ticker BAR. The BAR share price as of late 2020 was noted at €18.68 per share. As of late 2020, Barco NV was not undergoing an IPO, and it does not have a parent firm. Barco NV focuses on ‘visualisation products’, and works in many sectors such as healthcare, business, and entertainment and leisure. Some of its clients include cinemas, to which it provides tools such as virtual reality projectors. It also provides ancillary services needed to operate settings such as control room infrastructures as well as audio-visual streaming options. For healthcare, it provides software services for clinicians. It works with a number of prestigious partners around the world, and in 2020, Barco NV announced it was working with the Malaysian firm Next Visual for Barco's ClickShare Conference product.
