Korea Electric Power Corporation is an energy company based in Naju-si, South Korea. The firm was originally founded in 1898 as the Hansung Electric Company, later becoming the Korea Electric Power Corporation in 1982. It is engaged in the generation, distribution, and delivery of electricity throughout the country, along with the development of power resources and facilities using both traditional and renewable energy sources. It is the largest electric utility company in South Korea. The company is listed on the NYSE, where it trades under the stock ticker KEP. As of January 2021, the price chart was showing a 52-week high of KRW 30,050 and a 52-week low of KRW 15,550, with a quoted dividend yield of 3.23% paid out to shareholders. Korea Electric Power Corporation operates across four distinct business segments, namely Electricity Sale, Nuclear Power, Thermal Power and Other.
