Tellor

Tellor is a decentralised oracle network built on the Ethereum blockchain. Unlike traditional oracles that rely on centralised data providers, Tellor offers a secure way for smart contracts to place data on-chain. Tellor was launched in 2019 and stands out for its unique, community-driven approach to maintaining data integrity. A network of “reporters”, incentivised by TRB tokens, gather and validate data requests to ensure accuracy and reliability. If data submissions are contested, Tellor operates a dispute resolution mechanism whereby token holders vote on the most accurate data point.
