Bitcoin is the world’s first, and largest, cryptocurrency (by market cap). Stellar is a top 10 cryptocurrency, created to enable quick overseas transactions and token exchanges using blockchain. This financial instrument represents the price of one Bitcoin token, measured in Stellar Lumens (XLM). Traders who believe that the BTC/XLM chart will rise, meaning that BTC grew in strength against Stellar, could consider opening a long (BUY) position for this pair. Those who believe the BTC/XLM price will decline, could open a short (SELL) position. Stellar is relatively newer than Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency space, and since it is designed (among other things) to serve as a mediating currency, each token’s individual value is extremely low, measured in fractions of cents.
