Amp

Amp is a ERC-20 compatible token built on Ethereum, and the native token used within the Flexa network, a protocol that allows for crypto-collateralised payments to be used at brick and mortar venues. The Flexa network effectively provides a way for users to make payments for goods and services in a range of supported digital currencies, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, allowing the vendor to receive the payment in fiat currency. The Flexa Capacity contract is the basis of the ability to use AMP to collateralise real world payments, which can be done at more than 40,000 physical merchant locations across the United States and Canada. As a ERC-20 compatible token this cryptoasset can be sent, received, and stored using any ERC-20 compatible wallet. Amp smart contracts and source materials have been independently audited by security researchers from ConsenSys Diligence and Trail of Bits.
