ZCASH

Founded in 2016, Zcash is a cryptoasset with a goal of ensuring user security and privacy. This asset was the first of it’s kind to bring in zk-SNARKS, which are a form of cryptography that give the strongest privacy of any digital currency on the market. Zcash also has a ‘Selective Disclosure’ feature which allows the user to keep information relating to senders, recipients and amounts private, in much the same way that DASH, another cryptoasset, does. Zcash, which can be bought in the form of ZEC coins, was built using a version of the original Bitcoin code, and has been developed by scientists from some of America’s most well-respected universities. Zcash can be used to send money from one user to another, but is also available as a form of payment in an increasing number of online stores.
