Tingyi (Cayman Islands) Holding Corporation was founded in 1992 and is involved in the production and distribution of instant noodles, beverages and instant food products in the People's Republic of China. In 2012, the company formed a strategic alliance with PepsiCo to further expand its business, in which Tingyi exclusively manufactures, bottles, packages, distributes and sells PepsiCo non-alcoholic drinks in China. The Group distributes its products through an extensive sales network that as of 31 December 2018, included 369 sales offices and 108 warehouses serving 28,415 wholesalers and 140,779 retailers. In 2018, the Group was the market leader in instant noodles, ready-to-drink teas and egg rolls, having gained 43.3%, 47.1% and 18.3% market shares in these three business segments, respectively. Tingyi (Cayman Islands) Holding Corporation was listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in February 1996 and is a constituent stock of the Morgan Stanley Capital International China Index and the Hang Seng China 100 Index.
