CLP HOLDINGS (00002.HK) is a Hong Kong-based electrical utility company. The company is one of the oldest electrical utilities in the world with a history that goes back to its founding in 1901 as the China Light and Power Co. Ltd. Today, CLP provides 80% of Hong Kong’s electricity, as well as runningpower generation, transmission and distribution, and electricity and gas retail activitiesin Australia, India, mainland China, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan.
